Biblical Scholars Pretty Sure 6-7 is a Reference to Proverbs 6:16

In a search for the origin and meaning of the meme “six-seven”, Biblical scholars are now pretty sure that Proverbs 6:16 has something to do with the piece of brainrot. The verse writes, 

“There are six things the Lord hates,

    seven that are detestable to him:”
Dr. Ryan Napier, a professor of old testament literature at Reformed Theological Seminary in New York stated, “Solomon was a very wise man who was blessed with the knowledge of how to deal with stupid memes. It is possible that 6-7 was around in his time too, and that he called it an abomination in the sight of the Lord. Or maybe God is using this as a mnemonic device to remind Gen Z what the seven deadly sins are. Either way it would seem that 6-7 is at least partially divinely inspired.”
